Create with Us
Project Linus and Quilts for Veterans are the charity projects that we have supported for many years. Come to the sewing room and assist us with these fine efforts. Dates and times are listed on the Calendar. Pre-cut kits are also available to sew in your own home.
NOTE: In February of each year please report your hours working on these projects outside of the sewing room to the respective coordinator listed below.

Quilts for Veterans

Coordinator: Marge Lans
Assistant Coordinators:
Heidi Stopper and Margaret Stahl
Usually meets the second Thursday of the month (November-March.) Check the calendar for the exact date, also for possible cancellations and/or changes.
We create beautiful patriotic quilts for our in-resort veterans. Quilts have been given away for the past seven years in a random drawing of in-resort veterans only (one to two quilts per month November-March) and are presented at select Tuesday morning Coffee & Donuts sessions. Pictured are the quilts along with the recipients for the current season. If you are a veteran please sign up in the Activities office (one entry per veteran and you may only receive a quilt one time).
